Living by the coast I am enthralled by the miniature, quieter landscapes at our feet; for example the pebbles that gather in small communities amongst the rocks and crevices at the water’s edge. They move with the ebb and the flow of the tide finding a resting place before the tide returns to move them on again. Their patterns and markings are evidence of their formation over eons of time.

Taking time to slow down and seek out these quiet spaces and to really look is a gentle, meditative experience.

All these paintings, worked with my earth pigment watercolours on paper, wood panels and Westonbirt Ash have been sold. A new series will be available later in 2024.
